WHERE FAMILY TRADITIONS BEGIN

Crow Lake’s clear water, sandy beach, and calm atmosphere make it ideal for families looking to slow down and spend real time together.

Many of our guests first visited as children — and now return with kids and grandkids of their own.

  • Safe swimming & watersports

  • Spacious cabins for families

  • Lake tours & sightseeing

  • Pet friendly stays

A PLACE GUESTS BOOK YEARS IN ADVANCE

Our guests don’t just visit, they come back.

Colorful kayaks in red, yellow, blue, and turquoise are lined up on grassy shore near calm lake water, with a forested area and a dock in the background under a partly cloudy sky.

Some families reserve their spot up to three years ahead, ensuring they don’t miss their time at Hanson’s Hideaway Lodge.

That kind of loyalty can’t be bought — it’s earned.

Hanson’s Hideaway Lodge was founded by Kendall Hanson, who came to Canada from Sweden as a child and grew the business from guided canoe fishing trips into a destination lodge.

Today, the Hanson family continues that legacy — hands-on, on-site, and committed to preserving what makes this place special
